He completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Master of Physiotherapy while Professor Greg Gass was Head of School. After graduating with the Bachelor of Exercise Science, he accepted a position as High Performance and Rehabilitation Consultant for the Kobe Steel Rugby Football Club in Japan. After spending a number of years with the Kobe Steel Rugby Club, Chris returned to complete a post graduate qualification in Physiotherapy (Master of Physiotherapy). With his academic appointment to Bond University, Chris maintains an ongoing clinical load in Physiotherapy. His research/teaching is in the area of Strength and Conditioning. In addition he is Strength and Conditioning Coach/Head Trainer for the Gold Coast Jetstar Titans and Sports Power Consultant to Australian Baseball. His extensive theoretical and clinical knowledge in the area of strength and conditioning has been recognised by the Australian Weight Lifting Federation as Sports Power Coach Accreditation Consultant.
